Graphic Designer (Infographic Specialist)

Job description

  • Take responsibility for producing technical data sheets and installation manuals for the company’s products.

  • Conduct the necessary research to create sales and customer support documentation (technical and installation data sheets) in collaboration with project managers and the marketing team.

  • Perform basic calculations and be able to interpret certain technical information related to the company’s products.

  • Review plans, drawings, and 3D files using Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor.

  • Create schematics for wiring and electrical circuits in collaboration with the electronic design specialist.

  • Maintain and update documentation related to the tasks performed.

  • Carry out any other related tasks that may support the completion of projects within the design team.

    Required Qualifications

  • Degree in graphic design, industrial design, or visual communication.

  • Vocational or college-level training in graphic design, industrial design, or visual communication.

  • Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written.

  • Experience in lighting is an asset.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.

  • Basic knowledge of Java programming is an asset.

  • Basic knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor is an asset.

  • Basic knowledge of content generation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) is an asset

  • Analytical thinking – ability to understand and structure technical information.

  • Initiative – proactive mindset and ability to propose ideas and solutions.
